1 Analysis of existing situation Carrying out regular visits by members of the AUTH research team to the warehouses of the Masoutis SA company, assessment on the ways of storage and disinfestation, collection of samples for analysis and determination and identification of the main animal enemies that attack the stored food in the food warehouses. 1
2 Creating an innovative monitoring system infrastructure Creation of the installation basis of the network of sensors that will record in real time the conditions prevailing in the warehouse of Masoutis SA. This is achieved by on-site inspections to determine the quality and quantity of required sensors for uniform coverage of the area. 1
3 Determining risk parameters during storage After the on-site inspections and the analysis of the collected samples, the possible points of establishment of the animal enemies within the warehouse and the environmental conditions that are favorable for their development are determined. 2
4 Design and installation of warehouse monitoring system After the implementation of the above tasks and the communication of the research results among the members of the research team and the executives of Masoutis SA, the installation of the system for monitoring the conditions of the warehouse was carried out. 2
5 Optimization of tracking system operation The pilot operation of the system points out any problems and failures. In this specific work package, any technical problems that arise are resolved and the operation of the system as a whole is optimized in order to increase its effectiveness in terms of measuring the required conditions. 2
6 Creation of a questionnaire, prosecution of consumer behavior research and analysis of data Investigating the attitude and beliefs of consumers on food safety issues by conducting a consumer behavior survey of Greek consumers, in order to record and highlight the parameters that create risks arising from the use of food for human health and the environment 3
7 Planning of new practices for the Masoutis SA company Based on the results of the above research, guidelines will be given to the company Masoutis SA, in order to integrate it into its product promotion strategy, aiming to strengthen the feeling of food safety and environmental protection. 3
